Welcome to Fishing
in Pembrokeshire...
There can surely be few
places to rival Pembrokeshire for the variety and quality of its all
year round angling opportunities, and for the range and beauty of the
scenery in which they are to be found. Nowhere in the county is farther
than 15 miles from the sea and the land is criss-crossed with rivers
and streams dotted with increasing numbers of lakes and ponds. Below is
a very small list of what kind of fishing there is available and where
you can go to find it. There are many properties to let in West Wales
through
FBM
Holidays.
If you are looking to land your biggest catch, or even if you just want
to relax, then why not make a week of it and book a property with
Pembrokeshire's Premier Self-Catering Holiday Cottage Professionals.
Sea Fishing...
Famous for its bass fishing,
the coastal and inshore waters of Pembrokeshire also offer outstanding
opportunities for sea anglers interested in a wide range of other
species. Bream, mullet, wrasse, conger, rockling, mullet, pollack,
mackerel, sharks and rays are some of the more popular target species.
River Fishing...
Pembrokeshire Anglers Association has 15 miles of prime salmon,
trout and sea trout fishing on the Western Cleddau river in
Pembrokeshire, West Wales. Our fishing beats stretch from the
fast-flowing upper reaches to the tidal areas just upstream of
Haverfordwest.

Surf Beaches on the
Pembrokeshire Coast...
Beaches of West Wales
are famous for the quality of bass fishing they offer, and
Pembrokeshire has a wealth of readily accessible beaches, some of which
are many miles long, providing great surf fishing while others nestle
in sheltered bays that provide a refuge for fish and fishers in stormy
weather. Tope, turbot, gurnard, whiting, rays, mackerel, codling,
pollack, whiting and (quite literally) a hundred other species can be
caught from the beaches of Pembrokeshire.
Here are just a few of the many locations that provide great
opportunities for surf fishing and longer range beachcasting:
